Kirk Research has been part of the Jacksonville business community for more than 30 years. With a long history of customer service and market knowledge, our staff has extensive experience in all aspects of market research.

John Byington (President)

John Byington joined Jacksonville-based Kirk Research Services in 2007, with a goal of helping businesses better understand what their customers want, need, and value.

At first glance, the road from U.S. Navy helicopter pilot to Harvard MBA to GE Six Sigma Black Belt and strategic marketer to VP of operations at a market services firm might not look like a straight shot to leading a market research firm. But looking below the surface, all of those experiences helped inform John’s view of collecting data and the value of timely, professional execution of field-based research. Information is one of the most important tools you bring to your job.

Frank Reno (Manager)

An important member of the Kirk Research team, Frank Reno manages operations, staffing, and resources with special responsibility for field operations. His extensive background in personnel and administrative management helps Kirk Research meet the highly individual needs of our clients, from on-site surveys to field interviews to audits.

Retired from the U.S. Navy as Senior Chief Petty Officer, Frank has more than 33 years of experience in staff management, human resources, and market research. Additionally, he is a long-time resident of Northeast Florida and is very familiar with the culture and geography of the Southeast.
